Nahida is best played off-field, swapping in often to apply her ElementalSkill and then swapping to other characters such as a DPS that can createfurther reactions with Dendro using her passive to share herElemental Mastery with the party.

Obtaining as close to 1,000 Elemental Masteryas possible (after other party buffs) isincredibly important to maximise both of your Ascension passives, Compassion Illuminated and Awakening Elucidated.While you can still benefit from more than 1,000 Elemental Mastery, the damageincreases start to fall off and CRIT becomes better.

Nahida's best artifact set depends on who is in the team. Gilded Dreams is Nahida's best artifact option with itsElemental Mastery boosting effects. But the Dendro RESfrom Deepwood Memories is more important overall. This meansyou want Deepwood on another character such as Dendro Traveler.If no one can wear Deepwood, than Nahida should.

This generally means you want a weapon with Elemental Mastery and dependingon your artifact substat RNG you will need a Goblet and Circlet that give Elemental Mastery. Ideally whenpossible start by replacing the Goblet first and then the Circlet.

Due to her strong Elemental application, Nahida is easily played as the onlyDendro character for any Dendro-related reaction such asHyperbloom and Burgeon. As aCatalyst user, Nahida is able to apply Dendro with each attackmaking her useful on-field and her Elemental Skill can trigger with her NormalAttacks to increase your damage.

When on-field, the majority of Nahida's personal damage comes from herElemental Skill, All Schemes to Know, and subsequent reactions. The main reaction Nahidatriggers is Spread, this scales off of Elemental Damage and CRIT DMG,not Elemental Mastery, hence the shift in stat priorities compared to off-field.

As mentioned on the other build, wear Deepwood Memories isNahida's best set if no one else is wearing this set. Otherwise if anothercharacter can, Gilded Dreams is her best set.

You often want to start with her Elemental Skill, All Schemes to Know, to tether as many enemies as possible sothat subsequent reactions can deal more damage using Tri-Karma Purification(from Seed of Skandha). Tri-Karma does have a limit of up to8 characters at a single time, however.

Apply your Elemental Burst and start swapping to the other members of yourparty who will now be buffed due to the burst. Periodically swap back to Nahidato reuse All Schemes to Know again either for new waves ofenemies or due to its powerful Dendro application to maintainany ongoing reactions.

Using Illusory Heart is a huge buff to your team, dealing increaseddamage from All Schemes to Know as well as buffing the entire partiesElemental Mastery up to a maximum of 250.

Nahida has 2 very unique gameplay benefits that take place outside of combatsurrounding All Schemes to Know.

Nahida can collect up to 4 nearby items from the open world at a time usingher Elemental Skill such as berries and flowers. This does not work foranimals/collectables that move such as Scarabs in the desert.

Nahida can also use her Elemental Skill on NPCs in Sumeru to read theirthoughts and gain additional dialogue. This is mainly for normal NPCs outin the world but at times can be used on other playable characters forexample during an event.

Nahida's best team comps all revolve around Dendro'sreactions, that being Quicken,Bloom, Burgeon andHyperbloom. Dendro is an incredibly powerful elementarguably the best in the game and having Nahida helps massively.

Hyperbloom almost always wants you to pair Nahida witheither Raiden Shogun or Kuki Shinobu, both arebeneficial to be able to trigger Hyperbloom. TheElectro character always wants to be built withElemental Mastery, which makes Kuki Shinobu abetter choice. Raiden Shogun works with other team compositionswhich would require you to build 2 sets of Artifacts to also allow her to workin Hyperbloom.

Nahida has amazing synergy with Nilou being able to procher bountiful cores incredibly fast. So fast that you may need to be carefulwith the damage that Dendro cores deal back to you. This team does not reallyhave much of a Main DPS with all 4 characters contributing to eitherHydro or Dendro and bringing their ownbenefits. This can lead to varying damage numbers as no specific character isthe cause of the blooms.

Furina can be a great addition to this team withher Fanfare stacks and pairs really well with Kokomiand Baizhu.

Nahida is perfect for Quickbloom as a SubDPS allowing Electro characters to deal high damage.Cyno's best variant of this team includes Nahida,Furina and Baizhu. The teamsabilities line up smoothly with Cyno's Elemental burst.

Nahida is great for creating Dendro Cores and helping toset up Burgeon in Burgeon teams.Compositions generally want 2 Hydro and 1 Pyroto maintain an effective balance of elements. Pyro will then always reacts withthe Cores and not Hydro which could cause Vaporize reactions instead.Thoma shines in Burgeon when built with Elemental Mastery dueto how effectively he can trigger Burgeon.
